Our Lead Safe Painting and Home Repair is a class for do-it-yourselfers on how to work lead-safe if disturbing paint in pre-1978 homes.  This is a free class with a free dvd and sample supplies. In 2008 the highest rate of childhood lead poisoning was in a neighborhood where children were being poisoned due to parents unknowingly creating invisible lead hazards as they renovated their homes. If you know anyone working on pre-1978 homes now, or in the future, please invite them to this class and help keep our children safe from lead-poisoning!

Our Healthy Homes Nights are a sort of introduction to a healthy home.  We will touch base on all of the hazards we work with, and go into detail about how to identify lead in the home, as well as learn cleaning techniques to keep toxic lead levels down. This is also a chance for families to sign-up for our free direct services.

To register for either of these free, 90-minute classes, interested families can call (616) 241-3300.
