Get Active at The Other Way

Cardio-Strength with Brooke

When: Tuesdays 5:15-6:15pm
Where: The Wellness Center (706 W Fulton)
Join us for a 6 week class (January 29th- March 5th) for a high-energy exercise class that combines the benefits of kickboxing, aerobics, core training and yoga all in one hour-long class. All levels of experience are welcome. Please bring a towel or mat for segments of the workout! 

Walking Group with the GVSU Nursing Students:

When: Thrusdays 2:00-3:00pm
Where: The Wellness Center (706 W Fulton)
Join student nurses and neighbors for an enjoyable walk around the neighbors for an enjoyable walk around the neighborhood or an indoor activity (weather dependent). It's a great time of socializing while getting active!

Zumba with the YMCA

When:Fridays 2:00-3:00pm
Where:The Wellness Center (706 W Fulton)
Zumba fuses musical rhythms and tantalizing moves to create a dynamic workout designed to be fun and easy to do. No previous dance experience required. The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat. This work out highlights cardiovascular fitness and body sculpting exercise. Add some Latin flavor and international zest into the mix and you've got Zumba.
