My name is Noelia Macklin C-SNIP Outreach Representative. I work for C-SNIP, Community Spay Neuter Initiative Partnership, a non-profit, reduced cost, spay/neuter clinic. Our mission is to reduce the overpopulation of dogs and cats by providing quality, reduced cost spay and neuter surgeries and by supporting humane population control.

C-SNIP has been awarded a grant specifically targeting those households in the 49503 zip code area in Grand Rapids.  This area was identified as a high density, diversified community with a large portion of households who are at or below poverty level and have a high ratio of cats in the neighborhood. The purpose of the grant is to provide low cost for cats and kittens spays and neuters for $5.00 in an effort to reduce the feline population to a manageable number by making this surgery very affordable to everyone. Our normal surgery fees are $45.00 for female cats/kittens and $35.00 for male cats/kittens.

C-SNIP does not receive any money from the government and relies solely on donations, grants, surgery fees and does not require prove of low income to be eligible for this program. However those households who can afford the services of a private veterinarian are encouraged to do so.

Pat Baxter, C-SNIP Community Outreach Coordinator, and I would like to arrange to meet with you in your area to provide you with the details of this program… Please give me or Pat Baxter a call with a date and time that is good for you. Perhaps we would be able to attend either one of your board or association meetings.
