South West Area Neighbors (or SWAN) Association is a non-profit organization that has been working since
1993 to make the West Side a better place to live. We promote home ownership,
crime prevention, and community involvement. For more specific information we

- Foster and support a racially, ethnically, economically and socially diverse community
- Design and enforce standards for the social, economic and physical characteristics of the Westside
- And build relationships with individuals and other organizations in support of our Mission
